An entrepreneur and financial professional with over three decades of experience, Dr. Jean-Jacques Degroof works as a venture investing mentor and lecturer at various European business schools. Dr. Jean-Jacques Degroof previously served as a researcher and an affiliate researcher at the MIT Performance Center. During his tenure at IPC, he presented a paper at the 2003 Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference (BCERC). Babson College is preparing for its 36th Annual BCREC in June 2016. Babson College founded the BCERC in 1981 as a means of creating a dynamic venue for academics and real-world practitioners to make connections between theories and practice. Attended by over 350 entrepreneurial scholars and more than 200 presenters, the conference has earned a reputation as one of the most premier entrepreneurship research conferences worldwide. A Doctoral Consortium takes place alongside the conference to unite future entrepreneurship professionals with established industry leaders and researchers. Conference programming includes paper and interactive presentations regarding an assortment of entrepreneurial topics. Additionally, representatives of BCERC affiliates will each choose a single presentation as the recipient of a BCERC Best Paper Award. The 2016 BCERC will take place June 8-11 at the Nord University Business School in Bodo, Norway.
